Gear That I Use

Camera Gear

Canon EOS Rebel T5 Digital SLR Camera Kit with EF-S 18-55mm IS II Lens: This is my first DSLR camera and I do recommend it for newbie photographers. This version has been discontinued and there is a new version the Canon T6i, but it’s quite a bit more expensive. I was able to purchase mine used for around $375 and it came with an 18-55mm kit lens.

GoPro HERO Session: I love this little camera. Not only can it be discreet its great for action shots? (Duh!) I’m actually not a high-action, jumping off of sh%t kinda person, but I use it to get live shots of me playing and shooting a live concert. I got the Holiday Pack that came with a floating grip and an SD Card drive for a little more than $200.

Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Lens: This is a great wide angle lens. I used this lens mostly for my Youtube Videos as it’ll give you the crisp foreground and that sexy blurry background.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens: This is my FAVORITE lens. The BOKEH lens! Learning to use this lens properly has given me some of my best photos. Learn to zoom with your feet. This shot was created with this lens.
